You may have been shocked more than once since you incarnated on Earth; and you may want to avoid the same experience in the future. However, there is one type of shock that you should experience regularly; it’s called a prana shock. You can experience a prana shock in natural environments that contain groves of old-growth or whose atmosphere is saturated with fresh air. You receive a prana shock every time you eat nourishing food that is fresh and hasn’t been adulterated or processed as well as every time you drink water that retains life-affirming qualities. Some people, particularly those that radiate vast amounts of life-affirming energy such as spiritual adepts, can give you a prana shock, especially the first time you meet them.
The Importance of Life-Affirming Energy
Large trees in groves of old growth radiate life-affirming energy into their surrounding environment. Fresh air, especially in environments saturated with negative ions and free of atmospheric pollutants, contains vast amounts of life-affirming energy that can provide you with a prana shock. Spiritual adepts have recognized the life-affirming qualities of fresh air for centuries, which is why they developed breathing exercises, such as Pranayama, to enhance physical and spiritual well-being.
Fresh food contains life-affirming energy in abundance and, along with water, nourishes your body, soul, and spirit. People are also a source of nourishment, which is why, centuries ago, Yogic adepts declared that good company (people who radiate life-affirming energy) are the best thing for your spiritual life; bad company (people who suck life-affirming energy from you or who pour self-limiting energy into your subtle field) are the worst thing for your spiritual life.
Life-affirming energy has universal qualities. It supports pleasure, love, intimacy, and joy as well as the qualities of good character including perseverance, discipline, patience, loyalty, long-suffering, courage, and non-harming.
You need three forms of life-affirming energy to be nourished properly: prana, chi, and transcendent energy. You should receive all three forms of energy through your subtle field of consciousness, energy, and etheric matter as well as from Gaia and the flora and fauna that she supports. Unfortunately, the decimation of species, the destruction of ecosystems, the contamination of oceans, lakes rivers, and the atmosphere, the industrialization of the food supply, and pollutants contained within the collective field of humanity as well as negative projections from toxic people has denuded the world of life-affirming energy. This has deprived people of the nourishment they need, which is why most people are slowly starving.
The Contaminated Atmosphere
Air pollution refers to any substance released in the air that disrupts the health and well-being of Earth’s inhabitants. Statistics are fraught; according to the World Health Organization, each year air pollution is responsible for the premature death of at least seven million people. The WHO also asserts that air pollution is implicated in the development of emphysema, asthma, and other respiratory diseases. But the negative effects of air pollution are not confined to the physical-material plane. Respiration connects you to both the physical-material world and the subtle dimensions of consciousness, energy, and etheric matter. Consequently, every time you take a breath, you inhale oxygen as well as subtle energy in the form of prana, chi, and transcendent energy. These three forms of life-affirming energy work alongside fresh air to vitalize your physical-material body and the subtle bodies that interpenetrate it.
Conversely, toxic air denuded of life-affirming energy will interfere with your ability to form a stable identity or control the waves of your mind. A lack of stability has dire consequences; it will intensify your suffering as well as your longing for the nourishment your breath can’t provide.
Respiration’s interdimensional character means that the quality of the air you breathe influences your physical, mental, and emotional health. It also effects your ability to pursue your personal dharma (purpose), participate in intimate relationships, and receive all the benefits of your a priori state of enlightenment. That’s because Shakti (who represents life-affirming energy) brings you to Shiva (who represents universal consciousness).
Contaminated Drinking Water and Sugary Drinks
On the physical-material level, good health depends on water and its life-affirming qualities. Research has recently uncovered unknown facts about water. In Masura Emoto’s groundbreaking book “The Hidden Messages in Water,” the author explains that, when water is exposed to positive and relaxing sounds, words, or pictures, and then frozen, the resultant crystals, seen under a microscope, are beautiful! When water is exposed to loud or hard music, harsh words, and ugly pictures, the crystals are disorganized and chaotic. Fascinating, right? This discovery as well as the research I’ve conducted indicates that water is more than just a physical compound with unique properties. Water exists within a quantum field, which means that it’s a multidimensional substance that contains life-affirming subtle energy. The quantity of subtle energy it contains, which spans several dimensions, can be influenced by both its physical-material and subtle environments. This means that the quantity of life-affirming energy you get from water will be determined by whether it has been nourished by its environment or not. Clean water that has traversed pristine habitats (think mountain streams and lakes) and that has interacted with clean air contains the most life-affirming energy. Water that has been passed through polluted environments, that has been combined with chlorine and contaminated with hormones and parasites, as well as water in plastic bottles will lose its life-affirming qualities and contribute to the slow starvation of a human being.
Polluted water is only part of the problem; the issues associated with hydration have been made worse by the proliferation of sugary drinks. This category includes soda, pop, tonic, fruit punch, lemonade, sweetened powdered drinks, as well as sports and energy drinks.
Beverages with high sugar contents contribute to obesity and chronic ailments such as diabetes, rheumatism, cancer, and cardiovascular disease. They’ve also been associated with heart, kidney and liver disease, tooth decay, and gout. Because they contain very little life-affirming energy, they interfere with motivation and concentration. They also contribute to mood swings, depression, behavioral problems, and hyperactivity in children.
Adulterated Food
When it comes to the subject of food, particularly in Western society, people have been led to believe that their body uses food like a machine uses fuel as something that is necessary for combustion. This is about as far from the truth as saying the Earth is a big rock circling around the sun. In the same way that the Earth is far more than just a rock, food is far more than just fuel. Not only does food supply our physical-material body with the complete set of elements which sustains life; it provides us with life-affirming energy.
But research has shown that the life-affirming energy in food will only retain its potential as long as the food is not robbed of its value through over-cooking, freezing, or unnecessary processing.
Weston A. Rice traveled around the world during the nineteen-twenties and thirties studying the diet of primitive societies. He documented his findings in a revolutionary book called “Nutritional and Physical Degeneration.” What he found was that people who ate what he called a “primitive diet” (a diet consisting of simple unadulterated and mostly uncooked foods picked when ripe and free from chemical fertilizers) were largely unaffected by mental and physical diseases.
Even the ancients recognized the necessity of eating food that was alive and had not degraded by processing. In the Bhagavad-Gita, the most revered Hindu scripture, we find this passage: “The foods that prolong life and increase purity, vigor, health, cheerfulness, and happiness are those that are delicious, soothing, substantial, and agreeable. Those are loved by the pure.”
The author goes on to suggest that food robbed of the life force interferes with the ability of your body-mind to discern what is good for it by drowning out the small voice in our body’s centers of consciousness.
Decimation of Natural Environments
It’s well known that the wholesale cutting of old growth forests and the destruction of wetlands has interfered with the composition of the atmosphere and with habitats essential to the animals and plants dependent on them. What is less well known is that destruction of terrestrial habitats reduces the amount of prana (chi) and transcendent energy available to human beings.
We are multidimensional beings – and to maintain a healthy balance in our subtle energy fields, we need prana, chi, and transcendent energy from the natural environment. Much of this energy comes from healthy plants and animals. But the amount of life-affirming energy we receive from terrestrial and aquatic environments is dependent on their condition. Ancient forests are a case in point; the older the tree, the more prana, chi, and transcendent energy it radiates into the environment. In the modern world, especially in cities, people have lost their connection to natural habitats, especially ancient forests, which have been devastated. The loss of life-affirming energy that ancient forests once provided can’t be duplicated. It can only be restored when Gaia’s natural boundaries are revived and humans reconnect to her in a visceral way.
Decimation of Species
It’s estimated that humans dominate more than 70% percent of Earth’s land surface, erasing natural boundaries and stressing virtually every species within their traditional habitats. Humans have invaded the rain forest, mined the taiga, sucked oil and gas from underneath the tundra, changed the ph of the oceans and the composition of the atmosphere.
Overfishing has decimated fish populations, and pollution has disrupted the lifecycles of aquatic creatures; think coral reefs and river estuaries. Invasive species introduced purposefully or accidently by humans have also disrupted natural ecosystems and will continue to do so in the future.
It’s important to recognize that cause-and-effect relationships connect the physical-material world and its creatures with the non-physical world and that these relationships have been disrupted over the past two centuries by human activities. This means that the life-affirming energy the fauna and flora once provided human beings is in short supply. This has disrupted humanity’s relationship to Gaia and creatures large and small in virtually every habitat on Earth.
The patriarchal belief that animals and plants are soulless beings that humans can use as they see fit adds to the problem. Mammals, reptiles, avian dinosaurs, and plants of all kinds have all been starved of the resources they need to survive, reproduce, and maintain the health of their ecological relationships.
When one or more species, in this case homo sapiens, interferes with the overall health of their habitat, then balance will be disrupted, and species will suffer. The suffering will extend beyond individual species to Gaia.
Humans are an essential part of Gaia’s web of life and should be helping her maintain a healthy balance in all physical and non-physical dimensions. But humanity has dropped the ball, which is why so many people feel empty and yearn to connect to something real. Unfortunately, the disconnect will only get worse and more widespread if humans continue to disrupt the ecological balance and neglect their relationship to Gaia.
People with Distorted Life Vibrations
Toxic people can project distorted fields of consciousness, energy, and etheric matter into your subtle field. Once you’ve integrated these projections, they can create self-limiting and anti-self attitudes, ideas, and core values as well as a myriad of negative emotions and feelings that support them.
The projection of distorted consciousness, energy, and etheric matter is a common feature of modern society. It’s the attachments created by projections of distorted fields that explains how one person can influence another person’s physical and psychological health, how adults in authority can manipulate children, and how autocrats can compel people to ignore their humanity and do what they’re told. It also explains why people are yearning desperately for a sense of community and starving for nourishment from their relationships.
Most people don’t immediately recognize when toxic projections have entered their subtle field. It’s only when second generation symptoms emerge – a short time later – that they realize that something has changed for the worse. Second generation symptoms include a loss of vitality, the disruption of mental and emotional stability, and the creation of self-limiting patterns that can make it difficult for the afflicted person to express their feelings and emotions fully or to share life-affirming energy with other people.
People who’ve been blocked by toxic projections can also feel estranged from themselves, their loved ones, and the natural environment because self-limiting projections can block their access to the life-affirming energy that supports pleasure, love, intimacy, and joy.
In “No Exit,” Sartre, the famous French philosopher, wrote: “Hell is other people.” His insight was disavowed by his contemporaries. But when you examine the condition of people’s subtle fields, like I do, it makes you wonder whether he was right after all.
Wonderful, thank you! Does ozonating water return some of it’s life-affirming properties?
